The gun is indeed light, weighing just 18.4 ounces without optic. When fully loaded, it weighs around 25 ounces.

Ruger Max-9’s barrel length is 3.2 inches while the overall length is 6.0 inches – making it easy to conceal. I loved the fact that the Max-9 features both forward and rear slide serrations.

Better still, it has incredible ergonomics as well. I’ve compared the ergonomics of the Max-9 to the Springfield Hellcat, P365, Glock 19x and Glock 43x.
